Scotland's Sexual Health Information Reports (SSHI) (last updated November 2009)
New report published 24 November, 2009.
This is the fifth annual report produced by the Sexual Health Epidemiology Group (SHEG) (previously known as the Sexually Transmitted Infections Epidemiology Advisory Group (STIEAG)) for Scotland. It continues to utilise a number of different data sources to describe a wider picture of sexual health, rather than sexually transmitted infections (STIs) alone.
Key Clinical Indicators (KCIs) for Sexual Health Reports (last updated November 2009)
The fourth population based KCI report looks at data from 2008 on chlamydia, male and female sterilisation, termination of pregnancy and long acting reversible methods of contraception (LARC).
Sexually Transmitted Infections diagnosed in Genito-urinary Medicine clinics (last updated July 09)
This annual update includes information on sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and workload in Scottish GUM clinics during 2008.
Teenage Pregnancy (last updated June 09)
This annual updates includes statistical information on teenage pregnancies based on age at conception, with the most recent information representing conceptions in 2007. The release includes data by NHS Board of residence and Local Council Area for age groups
Abortion Statistics Scotland 2008 (last updated May 09)
The Abortion update contains information on notifications, to the Chief Medical Officer for Scotland, of terminations of pregnancy under the Abortion Act 1967 up to year ending 31 December 2008 (published May 09). The release includes numbers and rates for Scotland, NHS Boards and Local Council Areas.
