23rd February 2010 sees the release ofAlcohol-related Hospital Statistics 2010 [pdf 127KB]. This publication presents the latest available information on alcohol-related discharges from general acute and psychiatric hospitals and provides an update on data presented in the Alcohol Statistics Scotland 2009 publication. Information on alcohol-related discharges from general acute hospitals is presented for period 2004/05 to 2008/09. Data on alcohol-related discharges from psychiatric hospitals is provided for period 2003/04 to 2007/08.
